Climate: Comfortable over the whole year. The most pleasant months being April till July and September till October when it rains less and the temperatures aren’t as high. The North and West sides of the island are a little drier and warmer than the South and East. Cyclone season is from December to March.
Dress: Informal, light clothing. Sandals are the most comfortable way to walk around.Jackets and ties are required for more formal occasions and Long sleeved shirts evening functions. For ladies, dresses, blouses, and long pants are appropriate. There is a range of beachwear stores and boutiques available in Mauritius.
